About the event
The Samhain sabbat today still falls on October 31st, like the days of old. However, how we celebrate in these modern times is a blended mix of Gaelic lore, traditional followings, and for some, a day to honor the the ancestors and specific deities. Join Jacq Civitarese for a evening filled with ideas of how to create a meaningful Samhain ritual, including smaller rituals or traditions that you can enjoy for years to come! For many witches and pagans in Witch City (Salem, Ma) Samhain or Halloween isn't just October 31st... it's a long awaited month of festivities, somber remembrance, dedicated honor, mischief and mayhem! This Zoom lecture turned ritual will give you a first hand glimpse into Jacq's personal majick practices when it comes to the Samhain season...a season she's been steeply involved in for all of her life. Â Jacq Civitarese is an Elder, Rev. High Priestess, and dedicated practitioner within the Cabot Tradition for over 13 year as well as a Board Member of the Cabot Kent Hermetic Temple of Salem, Ma. Part of her commitment to her tradition is sabbat ritual and guided mediation writing. Jacq is a born native of the Witch City and has been a staple in Salem's many fine shoppes designing, stitching and selling majickal garments since 1997. Â $45 per person, PDF packet included!
